Eighty-five years ago, for the first time, the car manufacturers, unveiled their luxury models and contended for the Cup D 'Oro in the park of the Grand Hotel Villa D' Este in Cernobbio.
In the same location from May 23rd to 25th, 2014, in the category "Prototype and Concept Car" Officine Fratelli Frigerio were among the leaders with a great challenge: to present their Effeffe Berlinetta, a Gran Turismo, realized today - but as it was built the late 50s - among those select few cars produced by the manufacturers entered into the legend, and that still fascinate today with their creations.
With the same materials, the same dexterity, the same attention to details of the craftsmen that in the past, realized their small or large masterpieces of style and engineering, entirely handmade.

Il Concorso di Eleganza di Villa D’Este, con il suo carattere di esclusività mondiale, coniuga in maniera unica il rispetto per la tradizione e l’ orientamento per il futuro di quelle auto che hanno tracciato per eleganza, stile e raffinatezza la storia automobilistica mondiale e di quelle che probabilmente la tracceranno nel futuro.

Ottantacinque anni fa, per la prima volta i costruttori automobilistici presentarono i loro lussuosi modelli e si contesero la Coppa D’ Oro nel Parco del Grand Hotel Villa D’ Este di Cernobbio. Nella stessa location dal 23 al 25 Maggio 2014, nella categoria “Prototipi e Concept Car” le Officine Fratelli Frigerio sono state tra i protagonisti di una grande sfida : presentare tra quelle poche selezionate auto, prodotte da quei costruttori entrati di diritto nella leggenda e che ancora e soprattutto oggi affascinano con le loro realizzazioni la Effeffe Berlinetta, una Gran Turismo costruita oggi, ma come si costruiva alla fine degli anni '50. Con gli stessi materiali, la stessa manualità, la stessa cura per i dettagli, con cui gli artigiani di quegli anni realizzavano i loro piccoli o grandi capolavori di stile e ingegneria interamente a mano.
